Mission: To provide a healing and compassionate space to campers as they explore their grief, teach and strengthen coping skills and healthy expression, build connectedness and friendship, and facilitate fun.
A Journey of Connection, Healing, and Courage
Camp Lionheart is a free, week-long, overnight grief camp for children and teens in the State of Ohio ages 8-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. Camp is a place of courage and healing where kids and teens come together to grow, connect, find support and have fun!
Camp Lionheart is full of regular summer camp activities such as swimming, hiking, games and crafts, while incorporating structured grief and trauma-informed group counseling sessions with trained, licensed professionals.
